40th Birthday Barn Party

July saw RJCC Events booked solidly this year and we found ourselves in some very interesting venues... 

At a casual site visit, 3 weeks before our private client's party in July, which started out as an enquiry for a sound system, some lights and DJ turned into a full blown party planning session. 

We walked around the estate and talked through various options for the dining and main party area from the main house, under the stars on the front lawn to a marquee in the grounds and finally settled on the rustic old barn. 

Luckily it was the perfect size for around 80 guests seated with a dancefloor and bar and would end up being the perfect party venue.

Not only did we end up supplying the lighting and sound to turn a barn (pictured above at the site visit) into an elegant dining area and nightclub, but we also supplied many other event services, pictured below, to include:

Outdoor lighting for a 100m long driveway 
Fire breather / fire juggling performer as guests arrived 
Live sound engineering for Nina Conti ventriloquist act 
Staging
Mobile bar 
1m diameter giant mirror / disco ball 
Event generator and power distribution 
Pyro-musical fireworks display with a custom mixed soundtrack montage

2012 Private Parties & Big Balls!

Well well! January has been busier than expected...we have been beavering away in the office, sorting out the warehouse and preparing for what will hopefully be a busy 2012!

From 18th Parties to Weddings and College Balls we have are starting work on a number of exciting projects for 2012...

Balliol College Oxford are throwing their Ball on Friday 2nd March 2012 and RJCC Events have been booked to supply main stage lighting and sound as well as architectural and garden lighting - themed to the Tricolore France of 1789 - for 400 guests in a marquee.

Working with the Balliol College production team we are working with their budget to supply high quality equipment and engineers at a reasonable price - 'student discount' style!

Live sound for bands and DJs will be mixed on the Allen & Heath iLive desk powered by JBL VRX Line Array with an automated lighting show fit for a festival!
